UPDATED: 12:06 pm EDT July 24, 2006

Police call this weekend's death of a 3-year-old boy at a discount store "very tragic."

Christopher Antonio was at a Wal-Mart in Indianapolis with his mother and 5-year-old sister when a floor-mounted mirror fell on him Saturday evening.

Marion County Sheriff's deputies said he was likely killed by the force of the crash.

The boy's mother and another shopper pulled the mirror off the bleeding boy.

He was later pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital.

A Wal-Mart spokeswoman said the company is cooperating with authorities and that their thoughts and prayers are with the family.
